Irma is somewhat derived from Agnès . The later is a real person and is the name of a different software program distributed by Vestris Inc. Irma was written before it was given a name and Eric Vassalli, who currently manages Xo3 Digital Systems , suggested this name, sitting in the Infomaniak S.A. cave.
